christmas 2009

We had a great christmas this year! I had so much fun with my two girls. Madi had so much fun. She really got into santa and would not mind sitting on his lap to tell him what she wanted. Halli didn't seem to mind santa either as long as he gave something to her :) We started off by having our christmas eve party at my mom and aunts place. We did the nativity. Madi was an angle and Halli got to be a shepard. Then the girls fell alseep on the way home. Then santa came. I was sad I forgot to take pictures of everything that morning. But Santa brought everything and more that Madi wanted. One of the things she got was lots of dress ups. She loves her new high school musical cheerleading outfit. And Halli just loves it all. We had a very merry christmas for sure!

Dancing

This is something the girls do on almost a regular basis. Madi loves Momma Mia. So we are always watching it and dancing through the whole show! Halli even loves it now. She should since it was all Madi watched when she was a baby. She defenitly recognizes the songs when they are played. I don't know what I got my self into with these two! Halli's new trick is also summersaults! I see more of her butt in the air then her cute smiling face. She is so close to actually being able to flip over. It is so cute and she is defently proud of her self.

Madi loves Make up :)

Here is Madi having fun with some make up. She is all girl for sure!! Poor Steve has to put up with all of us girls. I also took some pictures of the girls in their new dresses my mom bought them. It was a fundraiser and they happened to only have these two dresses that were my girls sizes. And then also with the purchase they get to go be models for the company. So I will let you know how that goes. The photo shoot is Jan. So more to come on that. (so the photos got out of order.)

Lots to catch up on!

Well lots has been going on and I again forget to keep up on this blog. Halli turned One! She ended up being very sick on her birthday so it was a good thing we celebrated it before. She is so much fun! She went for her one year check up and weighed in at only 16 lbs. They are little concerned but since she was sick for a week they weren't really concerned enough to have her come back in a month. So now I just have to find a way to fatten her up :) She is very busy now and will make such a mess if I turn my head. But that smile just melts my heart every time. My Sister Shelby plays soccer and the team made it to the 3A state game. They got to play at the Real Stadium. It was a lot of fun. They played very well but fell short of winning and lost 1 to 0. Shelby did so well and we want to Congratulate her. The girls had a fun time at the game as well. We are all excited for Halloween so we painted pumpkins. Madi loved it! And Halli thought it was kind of fun as well. Shelby and Jaci even painted one with them.

What we have been up to!

Well we have had quite a busy month. First off I did a lot of canning with my mom and still have to get my applesauce done. Then I love Macey's case lot sale! Now I am ready for winter. Here is a picture of my stocked up pantry. On Wednesdays I pick up my cousin from school and she plays till dance. So here is a picture of all the girls having lunch. My girls continue to keep growing which is fun and sad at the same time. Halli is at a really cute stage. When I think she has picked up something and put it in her mouth I will ask her "do you have something in your mouth?" Her reply as you can see in the picture she sticks out her tongue. Halli loves to pick my flowers. So just let her one day and when she saw what was on the ground she starting picking them up and putting them back on the flowers. It was so cute. I wish I could freeze this stage. I love when they are walking and just trying to be so big. It is so cute. Madi is such a big helper and plays so cute with her. We are all doing great we ended the month with mine and Steve's 5 year anniversary and then my birthday. We have a busy next month as well. Halli turns one and we finally get to open the new business Steve has been getting started. Hopefully it turns out as well as we hope!

First Day of Preschool!

Here is Madi ready to go to her first day of preschool. She was so excited and loved every min. of it. I am so happy she is able to do this. She really needs something for her. I have to say that I was a little disappointed that I was not going with her. If you know me then you know that I love preschool and hope to one day have one of my own. But since it didn't happen this year I am glad Madi stills gets the opportunity to go. Her sister Halli sure does miss her when she is gone. She just walks from room to room looking for her. It is really cute. Did I mention Halli WALKS! Yes she is getting so good at it. She started walking before she was 10 months old. It is pretty cute but sad at the same time. My baby is growing to fast. I guess it is time to talk Steve into having another. I don't know what I would do with out a little one :)

Lake Powell

We have the opportunity each year to go to lake powell with the Winn's. This year was very fun. Me not being pregnant and girls being able to enjoy it too. The girls love to be outside and with the water all around just added to the fun. Madi was a little shy of the water. But Halli did not care at all and would crawl all around and splash in it. She also loved to dig in the sand. Both the girls loved all the sea shells too. One of Madi's favorite things was to ride on the tube. She would giggle to whole time. Halli liked it too. She would try moving back and forth to get it to go faster. We bought Halli a little turtle thing to float in the water with. Since her mom is afraid of the fish her aunt Nicole would help her float in it. Thanks Nicole! Madi also had to take her fishing pole. So her dad got her all hooked up and she caught a fish!

Dinner Up Line Creek

One of our favorite things to do as a family is just take a 4-wheeler ride up line creek and have dinner. That is what we did. We went with my brother and friends. It was a lot of fun and the water was the best part. The "big boys" sure had a lot of fun.

Halli is 9 months!

Wow I can't believe how fast time flies. My baby is growing up so fast. She is now 9 months and it seems like yesterday I just had her. We went for her check up and she is very healthy. She weighs in at 15 lbs 5 oz. and is 28 inches long. So she is long and skinny. Halli is very busy. She is crawling and gets into everything. Her favorite thing to do is unload the dresser drawers. She is also getting very good at walking. She can stand alone and will walk holding on to you. I can't believe she is already 9 months. I love having this little girl in our home. She is very much like her dad. She looks like him and is very good at teasing. We love our Halli and very thankful for her!
